What is NeoGen Plasma.
A highly advanced treatment, distinct and unique, designed to stimulate collagen production, improve skin texture and tone, restore firmness and significantly improve acne scarring.
Utilising controlled plasma, NeoGen delivers thermal energy deep into the dermis, triggering a cascade of regeneration and long-term skin remodelling, whilst maintaining skin integrity. Collagen and elastin are stimulated in a controlled treatment, leading to a smoother, brighter and more youthful appearance.
Acne, pigmentation and scarring are all significantly improved. Results are comparable to other modalities such as resurfacing lasers, but with far less downtime. As it is not laser, the delicate eye and lip areas can also be treated.

The treatment itself
Your NeoGen session is carried out by Sally in the clinic’s private treatment room, planned around the areas agreed at consultation. Detailed aftercare instructions are provided before you leave.

Collagen & elastin response
Healing varies from 4 to 14 days depending on the intensity of the treatment. There will be some initial redness, tightness and swelling; skin may feel dry and appear darker and possibly flaky or crusty.

NeoGen is suitable for most skin types and concerns, but there are a few situations where it may not be right for you — pregnancy or breastfeeding, a tendency to keloid or hypertrophic scarring, allergies or sensitivities to plasma energy, or an open skin wound, infection, eczema or psoriasis in the area. Suitability is always confirmed at consultation.
What does NeoGen treat?
Skin regeneration, acne and acne scarring, skin laxity, uneven texture, pigmentation, loss of firmness, stretch marks, solar keratosis, large pores and hooded eyes or crow’s feet.
How long is the healing time?
Healing varies from 4 to 14 days depending on the intensity of the treatment. There will be some initial redness, tightness and swelling, and the skin may feel dry and appear darker and possibly flaky or crusty.
How should I prepare?
Stay out of direct sun for 2–3 weeks beforehand and use a factor 50 mineral sunblock — we recommend Heliocare. Refrain from using retinol products for a week before your treatment.
Hydrate as much as you can for a few days before, electrolytes are recommended, coconut water is particularly helpful. Refrain from alcohol for 48 hours. Jalupro amino acid sachets are also highly recommended.
Your general health and skin's nutritional state will be assessed at consultation.
Often a course of Amino acids , Poly nucleotides and growth factors will be recommended to optimise your skin health, prior to your Neogen. The more hydrated your skin is, the better the outcome will be.
